Virtual matchmaking events - How do they work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. 20 minutes run fast, but they are enough to build first connections before the meeting ends and the next talk starts.
1) Registration
Register via the Register button. The key deadlines are the following:
- Registration in the b2match platform will be open until the last day of the Brokerage (28 April 2022). From 28th April onwards, participants will also be able to register and access the participant list, but new meetings will depend on participants’ availability.
- Brokerage Event: 26-27 April 2022
- Information Session: 26 April 2022
- The platform will be available for 2 months after the Brokerage for scheduling b2b meetings with those potential partners you found during the event.
- Cost: free of charge
- Language: English
2) Publish a profile to showcase your needs
Create a concise profile to raise your visibility on the b2match event.
Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and who you want to meet.
Your profile should include:
- A clear description of your institution, activites and interests, all in ENGLISH. This will be reviewed prior to approval.
- A Co-Operation Section (Marketplace) explaining the expertise you're offering/looking for, your project ideas or partner search.
- Specification on the type of partner you're looking for and the type of collaboration.
- Your availability, you will need to choose the time slots you can allocate for matchmaking meetings (ensure that you don't book meetings outside the Brokerage Event on these time slots).
Your profile is your personal card, make sure it reflects your value proposition and objectives.
3) Browse profiles of attendees
Go to the participants list to find out who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities.
4) Book your meetings
Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event.
5) Matchmaking Event
Access your meetings in My Agenda, where you have your complete schedule for the event and the list of your meetings. Check your camera and microphone and don't be late!
